Office Coffee Machines, A Brief Buying Guide

Coffee is universally loved, especially for a long day at work. What is better after all, for carrying you through a long than a warm, tasty beverage that also peps you up and keeps you awake and alert. This is the main reason, of course, that coffee machines are so popular in offices. However, before you purchase a coffee maker there are a few questions you should be asking yourself, not just about the coffee maker itself, but also about your business. And that's just what we will be doing here because when you factor these things in you'll save not only time shopping around, but a lot of money as well. The first question should be, how many coffee makers do I need? If you are small business own with a four room base of operations it would be a little silly to purchase more than one medium to large size coffee. Similarly, size is very important as well; once you have decided how many coffee makers you will actually need, next figure out what the appropriate size. This is best done by considering the number of employees currently working for you or your employers company. Employing four to six people? Well, then a nice, large, restaurant sized coffee maker, employing less and you can definitely go with something smaller and cheaper. Next, remember to consider the machine's apparatus, that is, how it all fits together, it's durability and estimated longevity. Sure you can buy a dinky, second hand, used coffee maker online for dirt cheap but how long is that really going to last? Probably, not very. Also remember to keep the coffee machine or machines within the company budget. Because even if it would be more optimal for you and your employee's palates to buy a top tier coffee maker, if it puts the company over budget to the point that you can't operate efficiently it simply isn't worth it. And speaking of palates, also consider what you expect to spend on condiments (if any) such as milk and sugar and how much that factors into the total cost. Lastly, and this is one that most people would not likely think of, ask yourself how easy your prospective coffee maker is to clean! Because of the high degree of moisture that is produced in most coffee machine filter slots, it is a perfect breeding ground for mold if left unchecked or shoddily constructed so be sure to pick one that is easy to take apart for a thorough cleaning.
